BIM Q&A | How Many Times Is the BIM Exam Offered Each Year?
The BIM exam is designed to identify qualified professionals with the necessary skills to advance building information technology. It aims to elevate the application of IT within the construction industry, foster technological innovation, and support the industry’s transformation and upgrading efforts.
By leveraging modern information technology, the exam promotes improvements in production efficiency, cost savings, quality assurance, and effective handling of tasks such as information sharing, transmission, collaboration, and decision-making. These tasks span the entire lifecycle of engineering projects, including planning and design, construction management, material procurement, as well as operation and maintenance.
The BIM exam is held twice annually:
- Summer Session: The second weekend of June
- Winter Session: The second weekend of December
