BIM Q&A | How Often Are Advanced BIM Exams Held Each Year, How Many Subjects Are There, and How Long Are the Scores Valid?
The advanced BIM exams are conducted multiple times annually. Specifically, there are two main exam sessions:
Summer Exam: Held every year on June 14th. Registration opens in the spring, from early March until May 5th.
Winter Exam: Held every year on December 13th. Registration takes place in the autumn, from early September until November 5th.
Who Can Register for BIM Exams?
1. College students who have completed courses covering BIM-related theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
2. Professionals engaged in architectural design, construction technology, or project management who have already mastered BIM theories and operational skills.
3. Social professionals who have studied BIM theory and practice either through self-study or formal training.
Those who meet the qualifications and pass the advanced BIM exam will receive a senior accountant qualification certificate. This certificate is recognized nationwide and remains valid for three years.
Additional Information:
The “Trial Regulations on Accounting Professional Positions” specify the following requirements for senior accountants:
1. A systematic understanding of economic and financial accounting theories, along with professional knowledge relevant to job qualifications.
2. A high level of policy proficiency and extensive financial accounting experience, capable of managing accounting tasks for a region, department, or system.
3. Educational and work experience criteria, such as holding a doctoral degree with two to three years of accounting experience; or a master’s degree, second bachelor’s degree, or graduate certificate with at least five years of experience as an accountant.
4. Proficiency in a foreign language.
