BIM Q&A | When Will BIM Registration Open in Gansu in the Second Half of 2019? Can I Register for BIM in Gansu Without Social Security?
The 2019 Gansu BIM Technology Ability Examination registration is scheduled for late September. This exam is part of the 15th National BIM Skill Level Examination, jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Graphic Arts and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and it is currently in full swing.
Are you wondering about the registration requirements? Here’s what candidates need to know:
Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification and meet the following criteria based on the BIM skill level they are applying for:
- BIM Skill Level 1: Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Complete the recommended training hours for Skill Level 1;
- Have worked continuously in BIM modeling or related fields for more than one year.
- BIM Skill Level 2: Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Hold a Level 1 certification and have completed the recommended training hours for Skill Level 2;
- Have worked continuously in BIM modeling and application for more than two years.
- BIM Skill Level 3: Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Hold a Level 2 certification and have completed the recommended training hours for Skill Level 3;
- Have worked continuously in BIM design and professional application for more than two years.
Registration Periods (Subject to Official Announcement):
- Summer Session: April 20th, 10:00 AM to May 20th, 6:00 PM annually.
- Winter Session: September 20th, 10:00 AM to October 20th, 6:00 PM annually.
Examination Dates (Subject to Official Announcement):
- Summer Exam: Late June each year.
- Winter Exam: Late December each year.
Exam Locations: The exam location indicated on your admission ticket corresponds to your assigned seat number.
For universities, vocational colleges, training schools, exam centers, liaison offices, teaching centers, registration centers, online teaching platforms, and other organizations administering elective subjects for college students, statistical reports must be submitted to the BIM Technology Series Job Professional Skills Evaluation Project Operations Office of the Beijing Green Building Industry Alliance Evaluation and Certification Center at least 20 days before the registration and exam dates.
