BIM Q&A | About the BIM Exam
How can candidates currently register for BIM industry certification exams? Is it possible to register without going through a training institution? Which authoritative organization issues the official BIM certificate?
The BIM exam is designed to identify qualified professionals with the skills needed to advance building information technology. It aims to enhance the application of information technology among construction industry workers, foster technological innovation, and support the transformation and upgrading of the construction sector.
By fully leveraging modern information technology, the BIM exam promotes improved productivity, cost savings, quality assurance, and effective responses to tasks such as information sharing, communication, collaboration, and decision-making throughout the entire lifecycle of engineering projects — from planning and design to construction management, material procurement, operation, and maintenance.
