BIM Q&A | Has Anyone Used BIM and Is It Easy to Use?
1. Select the Same Category
Select all models of the same type within the scene.
2. Point Snap
This tool enables quick placement of models by snapping one model to a designated point on another model.
3. Draw a Line
Lines can be drawn as either vector lines or model lines, both allowing adjustments to their start and end points. The key difference is that vector lines maintain a consistent thickness regardless of distance from the camera, while model lines appear more realistic by varying width based on distance.
4. Delete All Animations
Remove all animations associated with the model and its sub-models.
5. Delete Animations at the Same Level
Remove animations applied only to the selected model itself.
6. Display
Set all selected models to visible by adjusting their display states.
Note: This action overrides the objects’ visible or hidden states, making everything visible after clicking.
7. Hide
Set all selected models to hidden by adjusting their visibility states.
Note: This operation ignores current visible or hidden states, hiding everything after activation.
8. Export Single File
Export files in the *.4dpk format. During animation production, multiple files with their own animations can be exported from the scene and imported into other scenes using this function.
9. Text-to-Speech Conversion
If you need to create audio before inserting it, click the text-to-speech button to use the speech synthesis tool. Then, when adding keyframes to audio animations in the animation list, select the generated audio.
