BIM Q&A: Has Anyone Used ArchiCAD for Construction Drawings?

BIM Q&A | Has anyone used ArchiCAD for creating construction drawings?

Do you have a Chinese standard template for staircases? Is it still effective to create layout diagrams within ArchiCAD?

First, let’s address the issue of stair descent. By default, stairs in ArchiCAD adjust according to the scale transformation of the selected staircase. To modify this, press Ctrl+T to open the settings dialog, then disable the scale perception in the 2D details.

Next, select a staircase that complies with Chinese standards from the 2D symbol type options, and change the dividing line to a Z-shaped cut. The details on this issue are somewhat unclear, so I apologize if this explanation falls short.

Regarding the marking of doors and windows, switch to the 2D view and select the window tool. Press Ctrl+A to select all windows, then press Ctrl+T to open the settings dialog. Choose the marked option and select a mark type. ArchiCAD will automatically open the marking settings, where you can disable door railings and window sills as needed.
