When importing models from 3D software or SketchUp into Lumion, it is essential to assign different material IDs or names to the surfaces if you want to apply distinct materials to the inside and outside of a wall.

If the model comes directly from Lumion’s built-in objects, you can only apply materials uniformly to the entire wall, as Lumion does not support different materials on different sides in that case.
