BIM Q&A | How to Use Two Adjustable Leveling Options for Revit Roofs

Start by displaying either the floor plan view or the ceiling projection plan view. Next, navigate to the Architecture tab, locate the Build panel, and select the Roof dropdown menu, then choose Footprint Roofs.

Keep in mind, if you attempt to add a roof at the lowest elevation, a dialog box will prompt you to move the roof to a higher elevation. You can decide whether or not to relocate the roof to another level based on your project needs.
