After installing REVIT 2017, you are prompted to enter the serial number. However, when you click on the input field, the program closes automatically after about 5 seconds. What could be the cause? If you select “Login” and choose “Use Network License,” you can proceed, but registration is not possible.

This issue might be related to the software source or the installation package itself.
Try downloading and reinstalling the software. If the problem persists, it could be due to computer compatibility or system-related issues. In such cases, a clean reinstall may be necessary.

Here is a step-by-step guide for installing REVIT 2017:

1. Run the installation package and select a decompression directory. Make sure the path does not contain any Chinese characters.

2. Once decompression is complete, the installation window will appear automatically. If the interface is not in Chinese, you can change the language to “Simplified Chinese” using the options at the top, then click “Install” at the bottom right to continue.

3. Select “China” as the region above the license agreement, then agree to the terms and click “Next”.

4. Choose the features you want to install and specify the installation path. Due to the software’s large size, it is recommended not to install it on the C drive.

5. After installation, launch the program via the desktop shortcut. A prompt will appear requesting the serial number. Click “Enter Serial Number,” and the software will offer a 30-day free trial. If your internet connection is unavailable, click “Activate” to open the activation interface.

6. Enter the serial number “066-06666666” and the key “829I1,” then click “Next”.

7. Place the keygen (registration tool) inside the installation directory, launch it, and click the “Patch” button. If a prompt appears, the keygen is working properly.

8. Copy the application code from the software activation page into the keygen’s first field, then click “Generate” to obtain the activation code.

9. On the activation page, select “I have an activation code from Autodesk,” enter the generated activation code, and click “Next”.

If you reach this page, it means the software has been successfully activated.
