BIM Q&A | My Revit 2014 – Why Does It Only Analyze in Simplified Chinese?
When activating CAD 2014, the Autodesk component stopped functioning properly. This issue occurs from versions 2011 through 2014, where the AutoCAD component fails to work upon activation.
Several troubleshooting methods were attempted, including deleting licenses and clearing data, but none resolved the problem. Ultimately, uninstalling Internet Explorer 10 and reverting to IE9 resolved the conflict.
It appears that the conflict arises between CAD’s LMU program and a component within IE10. Removing IE10 allowed the activation to succeed without issues.
