To copy beams and columns, first select the elements. Then, under the contextual tab, choose the “Copy to Clipboard” option in the clipboard panel to complete the copying process. Once copied, the “Paste” function next to it will become active.
Click the small arrow beneath the “Paste” button and select “Align to Selected Elevation.” Next, pick the elevation level where you want to paste the elements, and confirm your selection.
If any part of this process is unclear, feel free to ask me again.
