BIM Q&A | Revit Always Deviates from the Axis When Copying Between Floors: What Should I Do?

Select the beams and columns you want to copy. Under the contextual tab, use the “Copy to clipboard” option in the clipboard section to complete the copy. Once done, the “Paste” function next to it will become active.

Click the small triangle beneath the “Paste” button, then choose “Align with the selected elevation.” Next, select the elevation (floor level) you want to paste to, and confirm your choice.
