BIM Q&A | What is the sealing method for Rhino software incision? Do you need to press a specific key?


To begin, identify the model and the exact location where you want to create the incision. For clarity, I will demonstrate using a model similar to the one shown below, where a circular hole needs to be drilled on the front face.

As illustrated in the image, click the small triangle at the bottom right corner of the icon highlighted by the red arrow. Then, locate the “cylinder” icon indicated by the arrow in Figure 2 and left-click it.

Since I intend to create a hole on the lower part of the object’s front, I have chosen to build the bottom circle of the cylinder on the front view, as shown in the following figure. The size and position of the hole should be adjusted according to your specific model requirements.
