BIM Q&A | How to Use Revit Volume to Define Routes and Specify Shapes
In Revit, volumes are created by drawing shapes on various surfaces. To start, draw your shapes on different planes, select the shape, and click Create Shape.
The volume-related tools can be found in the menu bar under Volume and Site. Within Built-in Volume, you can choose a method for constructing the volume, such as stretching. First, draw the outline on the plan view, select all necessary options, and the Create Shape button will become available. Clicking this button will generate a solid shape, completing the process.
