BIM Q&A: How to Fix Issues with Unbindable Revit Links

BIM Q&A | Unable to Bind Revit Link

When combining Revit building and structural models, you may encounter an error stating that the position of the linked model is not shared, preventing the link from being bound.

To resolve this, you can bind the link by selecting the Revit link file already loaded into your project. Then, click on the linked model file, and you will find the binding option located in the upper right corner.

Keep in mind, this process embeds all externally linked Revit project files into the current project. This can become quite cumbersome, especially if your computer is experiencing performance issues.
