BIM Q&A | How to Align Two Revit Files to a Unified Coordinate System

If you have imported the same CAD drawing into two separate Revit files for modeling, and now need to combine these two models with matching coordinates, how should you proceed?


To align the models, select the reference line in one file, then copy it to the corresponding level plan view in the other file. In the menu, go to Modify > Paste > Align to Current View to position the line correctly.
