BIM Q&A | How to Perform Cost Estimation with Revit

There are two common approaches to cost estimation after completing a Revit model:

1. Using Revit Quantity Calculation Plugins: First, create the model in Revit. Then, apply quantity calculation plugins such as Sver, Luban, or Pinming to extract and calculate the quantities for the project.

2. Using Guanglian Da Estimation Software: Begin by modeling in Revit, then use the GFC conversion plugin to export the Revit model into a format compatible with Guanglian Da. Finally, perform quantity calculations directly within the Guanglian Da software.
