BIM Q&A | Urgent High-Score Solution: Autodesk Revit 2014 Installation Fails to Launch After Completion
If you are using a 64-bit Windows 10 system, you might have completed the installation normally, but the software fails to load the language module and then exits unexpectedly.
To help resolve this issue, I am providing a software package along with an installation guide that should assist you.
Installation Guide:
1. Download the installation package from this website. Then, double-click to run the program Autodesk_Revit_2014_Simplified_ChineseWin_32-64bit-dlm.sfx.exe. In the decompression window, choose a directory to extract the files, with the default path set to C:Autodesk.
2. The software will begin the self-extraction process. Wait until the extraction completes and the installation wizard appears.
3. Launch the official Autodesk Revit 2014 installation. In the upper right corner of the installation wizard, select the “Simplified Chinese” language option, then click the “Install on this computer” button.
4. Accept the software license agreement by selecting “I accept.” You can review the agreement content yourself if needed. Then click “Next” to continue.
