This project is located in Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, and was developed by Zhongcheng Group, a major state-owned enterprise in Shenyang. Beitang International Hot Spring Town combines four key areas—cultural tourism, commercial services, healthcare, and elderly care—bringing together leisure and vacation concepts. This fully integrated community spans 2.6 square kilometers, offering comprehensive facilities for all ages alongside health and wellness services, making it a prime livable destination in Northeast Asia. Kancho Innovation Research Institute designed a multifunctional space for the Kita Onsen Town Living Hall, blending exhibition, sales, and leisure areas.

The term “Aoyi” is used to explore profound matters within the forest, carrying a mysterious significance.
The design draws inspiration from natural forms such as the Möbius ring, bamboo forests, lava flows, flying snow, and rainforests. These elements are transformed into spatial experiences that offer visitors a unique connection to nature within a modern context, reflecting a refined appreciation of the natural world applied to contemporary architecture.

The space is organized from north to south into four functional zones: Fujiuzhai, Beifenxia, Tianjingying, and Grass Rain Dew, with the Courtyard Staircase Toe serving as an exhibition area. Each zone is designed to embody a distinct natural essence, creating a refined and immersive experience.
