BIM Q&A | Is ALIAS Better Than Rhino for Product CG?
I’m interested in learning 3D software primarily used for industrial product advertising renderings, such as official mobile phone renderings. I used to be familiar with 3DS Max, but later realized it wasn’t the best fit for this purpose.
After that, I began teaching myself Rhino, and I’ve been learning it for over six months now. However, it still feels insufficient. Rhino’s chamfering tools are quite challenging to work with, and models with complex structures often encounter issues.
I’m wondering if these problems stem from my lack of proficiency, or if ALIAS truly offers significantly better modeling capabilities than Rhino. I would appreciate any advice on this.
