BIM Q&A: Using a Mac Pro for Lumion – Is It Feasible?

BIM Q&A | Have you ever used a Mac Pro to run Lumion?
Lately, I’ve been considering purchasing a desktop from Apple. My initial plan was to get the Mac Pro “trash can” model featuring a six-core 3.5GHz Intel Xeon E5 processor, 32GB of RAM, dual AMD FirePro D700 GPUs (each with 6GB), and a 512GB SSD. I also intend to buy a monitor from another brand.
Originally, I thought about getting a 21.5-inch iMac, but since its graphics card isn’t upgradeable, I decided against it. Although the 27-inch 5K iMac looks amazing, I worry that working in front of such a large screen for long hours might be uncomfortable.
After some research, I discovered that Lumion might not support professional graphics cards well. (Please don’t criticize me—I still plan to use macOS as my primary operating system.)
So, my question is: will the Mac Pro configuration I selected result in poor Lumion performance?
