BIM Q&A | How to Open Higher Version CATIA Files in Older Versions and Save Them Without Losing Parameters

BIM Q&A | How to Open Higher Version CATIA Files in Lower Versions? Is It Possible to Save Higher Version Files as Lower Versions Without Losing Parameters?

Is there a way to open parts created in CATIA V5R21 using CATIA V5R20 without losing the original parameters?

Currently, the common online solutions involve saving the files as STP format or using batch processing for download compatibility. However, when opening these files in R20 after conversion, all original parameters are lost, and the part becomes a single solid, making parameter modification impossible.

Are there any alternative methods to preserve the parameters or modify them after opening in a lower version? Any expert advice would be appreciated.
