The project site is home to dense chestnut forests, with naturally rolling terrain. Upon entering the resort, visitors feel as though they have stepped into a deep forest, surrounded by stunning views of Seori Mountain and the valley. The scenery of Seori Mountain changes beautifully with the seasons, offering a dynamic natural backdrop.

Our goal is for visitors to truly experience the forest, enjoy their stay, and carry this experience back into their daily lives. We also aimed to blend South Korea’s natural environment and culture with modern living. The name “Charming Green Forest” reflects the concept of luxury camping amidst lush greenery, symbolizing a rich natural environment.
Inspired by the shapes of leaves and forest pebbles, the architect designed a distinctive luxury camping tent using plastic materials that harmonize with the natural surroundings, creating a charming and cohesive green forest resort.

Upon arrival at the Charming Green Forest Resort, guests first encounter a parking lot bordered by stone walls that line the roadside within the forest. The stones used for these walls are sourced directly from the site, emphasizing the preservation of local natural elements. As you walk along the forest path, wildflowers bloom beside the walls and roadside, guiding you to the welcoming reception center.

The reception center is situated at the highest point of the site and features a large triangular form. Designed with a suspended roof that integrates seamlessly with nature, the building maintains the feeling of being immersed in the forest even after entering the space. This center serves multiple purposes, including welcoming visitors, housing restaurants and cafes, and offering relaxation facilities.
It also includes an indoor spa area and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the valley. At its heart is a courtyard nestled within the forest, accessible via a terrace staircase that descends naturally into the valley below. The staircase’s mid-level leads to a conference room and cinema, while further down lies a conference space with valley views. This design fully adapts to the terrain, providing diverse experiences and blending architecture harmoniously with nature.

The resort offers various amenities, including luxurious camping tents designed for comfortable living, a forest nature workshop for immersive experiences, and two treehouses. These luxury tents are naturally positioned along the forest paths that gently slope like veins through the landscape.
The ‘Leaf Luxury Camping Tent’ features two distinct volumes inspired by the organic shapes of leaves and pebbles: a flexible circular form and a sleek dart shape. Each tent provides a private outdoor space with scenic views of the surrounding forest.

We believe the dedication and respect for the local environment demonstrated by “Charm Green Forest” are clearly reflected in its architecture. This commitment deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated. Our hope is to preserve this beautiful environment where visitors can enjoy enriching and memorable experiences.
