How to Draw Curved Curtain Walls in Revit
Start by opening Revit and navigating to the Architecture tab. Use the Wall command to draw a curved wall. Next, select the Curtain Wall option under the Wall command to draw a curtain wall on the curved wall you just created. Initially, the curtain wall will appear straight. So, how do you adjust it to follow the curve?
Select the curtain wall, then open the Properties Bar and click Edit Type to enter the Type Properties dialog box. Locate the Vertical Grid section and adjust the Layout parameter. You can set it to any value except None.
Click OK to confirm. You will notice the curtain wall now follows the arc shape, but the underlying wall remains uncut. To fix this, return to the Type Properties dialog box and enable the Automatic embedding option. This will allow the curtain wall to automatically cut into the wall.
Other settings for horizontal grids and vertical parameters are available but will not be covered in detail here.
