After installation, you can use the Add or Remove Features utility to add or remove Revit content.
To add content, ensure you are connected to the internet, as the installation program needs to download the required files from the Autodesk website.
For more detailed information about Revit content, please refer to Selecting Revit Installation Content.
In the Windows Control Panel, follow these steps:
Navigate to Programs > Programs and Features, then select Uninstall or change a program.
Find and select the relevant version of Autodesk Revit Content Library.
Click Uninstall/Change.
On the installation page, choose Add or Remove Features.
On the content selection page, check the boxes for content you want to add, or uncheck those you wish to remove.
Click Next to update your Revit installation.
When using the Add or Remove Features utility in Revit, the following paths in UserDataCache\Revit.ini may be updated:
- FamilyTemplatePath
- DataLibraryLocations
- DefaultIconState
The next time Revit starts, it will copy these paths from UserDataCache\Revit.ini to the user’s configured version of Revit.ini.
