BP Residence is situated in a newly developed suburb west of Jakarta, Indonesia, at the corner of the BSD urban cluster in Tangerang. The residence features stacked, rotating concrete boxes with a minimalist design. Visitors approach the main entrance via a large ramp that extends from the front ground level. This leads to a striking cantilevered concrete box accented with warm wooden materials, serving as the visual focal point of the home.
The primary living areas are located on the elevated second and third floors, offering scenic landscape views, while service rooms occupy the ground floor.

The exterior of the cantilevered box is fully clad in wooden materials, creating a warm and lightweight aesthetic. In contrast, the exterior walls of the other volumes are finished with plain concrete, providing a grounded and stable base for the structure. On the side of the house, a suspended concrete box functions as a welcoming corridor, connecting the entrance level to the living spaces and opening up to the swimming pool nestled within the built-in courtyard.

The “L” shaped layout formed by the living room and bedroom creates a shaded, covered area that maximizes the private inner courtyard and swimming pool—key features highly valued by the residents. Surrounded by transparent and semi-transparent glass panels, the design allows soft natural sunlight to gently illuminate the heart of the living areas.

A Zen garden is nestled between the living room and bedroom, while the bedroom’s exterior wall is adorned with a vertical garden. The spiral staircase frames an elegant corner, facing two expansive open glass facades. On the upper level, both the bedroom and master suite are located on the top floor, featuring large glass windows overlooking the inner courtyard’s swimming pool.
