This house is situated in Zakarii, approximately 80 km from São Paulo’s capital city. It was designed for a family composed of a couple, their son, grandmother, and their pets.

Music plays a vital role in the lives of the residents, with a particular passion for singing and classical music. Reflecting this, the home is organized around a central space designed for welcoming friends during moments of relaxation and leisure.
The three floors are distinctly separated by function: the basement houses a garage and storage area; the first floor contains the grandmother’s bedroom, service spaces, and social areas; and the second floor features three bedrooms with balconies.

The ground floor courtyard serves as an ideal setting for family music performances during celebrations, acting as both an audience area and stage. Its design features organic openings within a linear frame, combining flowing, curved forms that connect the ground platform with the upper floors.
The upper floors present a contrasting geometric form—a white cube punctuated by rectangular windows—highlighting a clear, deliberate architectural expression.

A wall layer coated in clay-colored, thick, and rough plaster symbolically separates the vibrant garden below from the stark white cube above. This white cube appears light and suspended, hovering above the courtyard to express a sense of airiness and openness.
