The residence at Loma La Cruz is situated on a site with a notable elevation difference between the street level and the front lawn. This topographical feature serves as the foundation for the design, with the structure rising gracefully towards the elevated main entrance. This approach gives the house a taller appearance than its actual height.

The house is closed off on the south side—reflecting its location in the southern hemisphere—and opens almost entirely to the north. This orientation takes full advantage of the stunning hill views and maximizes exposure to natural light.

From the street, the house resembles a grand stone wall. Its scale and rugged texture hint at the interior experience. Centrally located, a three-story corridor runs horizontally, connecting the north-facing main room and the south-facing secondary room.

From this corridor, residents can access a terrace and large vertical windows. The terrace features refined materials such as concrete, stone, and oak wood. Together, the main living room and terrace form a precise square framework, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living spaces.
