314 Architecture Studio recently designed a new home located along the southern coastal suburbs of Athens. Named “Besso Nano,” the project embraces an organic architectural language that seamlessly blends internal and external forms. Its design prioritizes privacy while offering unobstructed views of the sea.

The total floor area of the residence spans 4,693 square feet (436 square meters). On the ground floor, a spacious 5-meter-high area houses the kitchen, living room, and bedroom suite. Glass panels extend around the perimeter, effectively blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. This allows both the bedroom and living room to open directly into the garden. The landscape design combines soft and hard elements, including ponds and swimming pools, fostering a harmonious interaction between the interior and exterior environments.

The first floor features four bedroom suites, while the main living spaces—including the living room, kitchen, and dining area—are located on the second floor. This open-plan area covers 1,722 square feet (160 square meters) and extends onto a spacious terrace. The third floor houses an independent office surrounded by lush plantings. A dome-shaped skylight crowns the building, flooding the offices and living spaces with natural light.
