2. Commonly Used Symbols
Elevation: Elevation represents the height of the ground or specific parts of a building. On drawings, elevation dimensions are annotated in meters, typically to three decimal places. For integrated decoration master plans, two decimal places suffice. Elevations on overall plans are indicated using solid black triangles.

North Arrow and Wind Rose: These symbols indicate the building’s orientation. The compass form is illustrated in Figure 2.2, with a circle diameter ranging from 8 to 20 mm. Typically, the character “North” is marked at the arrow tip.
