Linear sandwich panel anchors are designed to connect load-bearing panels within multi-layer concrete structures to the exterior panels of curtain walls. These anchors transfer both the self-weight of the curtain wall’s outer panel and the stresses acting on the curtain wall to the load-bearing plate. Given their exposure to potential corrosion in air gaps and insulation layers, anchors are made from highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. In addition to the anchor components, tie rods or other fasteners are also employed to prevent deformation of the curtain wall.
