Truss steel bars, also known as lattice steel bars, form a support system made of lattice bars connected to transverse steel bars. In laminated floor slabs, these truss bars serve to link precast concrete with cast-in-place concrete, creating a unified structure. Their role is even more critical in composite wall panels, where they not only connect precast and cast-in-place concrete but also provide essential support between the precast inner and outer panels.
The height of truss reinforcement varies depending on the load-bearing requirements of each project, typically ranging from 6 to 42 centimeters.
Furthermore, the maximum height of truss steel bars is also constrained by the capabilities of the truss bar processing equipment used in prefabricated residential construction.
