The system typically consists of two or more platform shuttle displacement vehicles that operate along a fixed track. When a platform track change command is received, a hydraulic device lifts the platform off the track wheels, allowing it to move to a different track. Upon reaching the designated position, the platform precisely stops, and the hydraulic device lowers it onto the new track to complete the track change.
