a) Installation Instructions
To ensure the proper installation and startup of the Shanghai Baoye Construction BIM Application Tool Set V4.0 (hereafter referred to as the tool set), please carefully follow the instructions below:
Before installation, make sure that your system does not have any plugins such as isBIM Technician or the China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau BIM Plugin developed by Bicheng. If these are installed, please uninstall them first.
Installation Steps:
- Log in as an administrator to perform the installation.
- To avoid permission issues, consider installing the tool set on a non-system disk.
- If permission problems persist, use “Run as Administrator” to start Revit and try again.
Once the installation completes successfully, a shortcut for the Shanghai Baoye Construction BIM Application Tool Set will appear on your desktop.
The installation package supports Revit versions 2014, 2015, and 2016 automatically when installed in a single process.
b) First Launch
To verify software ownership, the first launch of the tool set must be done by clicking the shortcut icon on your desktop.
After opening the shortcut, users will be prompted to select the version of Revit to launch.
Selecting the “Resident Revit” option ensures that the tool set plugin will load automatically each time Revit is started in the future.
c) Software Activation
To activate the tool set, click the “Authorize” button located in the help panel of each module. This will open the activation dialog box.
In the Product Activation dialog box, enter your order number along with your personal details, then click the “OK” button at the bottom right to complete the activation process.
Once registered successfully, clicking the “Authorize” button again will display the current license information.
If you need to reactivate the software or check product authorization details, simply click the “About” button in the help panel and manage these options within the About dialog box.
