Download the Matrix Importer Plugin for BIM

This plugin allows you to create multiple physical family libraries with just one click. The coordinates (X, Y, Z) for each physical object are read from a text file.

The file content must follow this format:

POS: X, Y, Z; PARAM_1: PARAM_1_VALUE; ...; PARAM_N: PARAM_N_VALUE.

The positioning block (the first one) is mandatory, while the other parameters are optional. If you want to add comments for physical items, include them like this:

...; Comment: COMMENT_1;

For each entry in the file, a corresponding physical object will be created automatically.
