ReForma Swing Direction (Trial Version) is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® designed to enhance digital signature and security features.
When working with flip control arrows on doors, windows, and furniture objects, or when setting mirror images, Revit automatically reads and applies flip and swing values such as left, right, or bidirectional. You simply need to define the default values for each flip or swing direction within the Swing Settings dialog box. These settings then apply consistently to all loaded doors, windows, and furniture series in the project.
Using the ReForma Swing Direction tool automatically generates parameters. When you flip an object using the control arrow, all related changes update automatically, eliminating the need for manual adjustments after flipping.
The swing direction values in Revit remain consistent with the settings specified. These values can be displayed in lists for doors, windows, and furniture. The specified values reflect the project’s orientation and can be saved to an .xml file for import into other projects.
Note that the swing parameter value for the selected physical face cannot be changed directly within Swing Direction. To maintain project consistency, all adjustments must be made through the Swing Direction dialog box.
Additionally, when linking a Revit file to another (the main file), the parameter values from the linked file are displayed within the main project, ensuring seamless integration.
