The structural analysis toolkit in Autodesk Revit is a comprehensive set of tools designed to support the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process. It enables structural engineers to perform structural analyses directly within the Revit environment.
With this toolkit, structural designers and engineers can streamline their workflows both on desktop and in the cloud. They can create analysis models in Revit, carry out cloud-based structural analyses using Autodesk 360 services, and extend their models to Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional or other supported third-party analysis software. Once the analysis is complete, the results can be easily saved and reviewed within Revit.
The toolkit includes the following features:
Link with Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional
Transfer your Revit analysis model to Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional, a dedicated software for advanced structural analysis and design. It supports linear and nonlinear analysis for any structure type and shape, and allows for the design of steel, concrete, and wood components.
Autodesk 360 Structural Analysis for Revit
Perform cloud-based structural analysis on Revit models using Autodesk 360 Structural Analysis. This service enables static and gravity analyses, with results accessible through the Revit project or the Autodesk 360 Structural Analysis website.
Structural Result Storage and Exploration Tools
Utilize the Results Manager to view, download, or delete result packages. The Results Browser facilitates the display of result mappings and charts for analytical model elements directly within Revit.
Note: This application uses a custom installer rather than a standard app store installer.
