How to Create Curved Curtain Wall Roofs in Revit
Step 1: Start a new project and draw a curtain wall using the attribute types shown in the image below.
The curtain wall will look like this:
Step 2: To form a wavy, curved curtain wall roof, you need to stretch the roof so it attaches to the curtain wall, creating the curved effect. Follow these steps:
① Select the option to draw an extruded roof, as illustrated.
② Choose an elevation plane and sketch the curve that will define the extruded roof’s shape.
Step 3: Confirm the sketch, then draw the extruded roof along the curve. Next, select the curtain wall and attach it beneath the roof, as shown.
This completes the structure, as demonstrated in the image below.
Step 4: Select the roof and use the ‘Permanently Hide’ command to conceal it. This will leave you with the desired curved curtain wall roof, as depicted in the picture.
