How to Add Texture to a Painted Face of a Revit Family Component

Using a standard model family as an example, start by creating a rectangle through extrusion in the model environment.

In the properties bar, click on Family Types and create a new parameter named Texture.

Next, assign this parameter by selecting the appropriate categories related to texture.

Create a new material called texture and upload an image to be used as the texture.

Then, apply this texture to one of the faces of the rectangular prism.
