How to Create VR Panoramic Images in Lumion 8 (Part II)
1. Click on the VR Panoramic Rendering option located in the bottom right corner, as shown in the image.
Note: Lumion 8 has a known issue when creating VR panoramic images. During export, only one location can be selected at a time. If you try to add and export multiple locations simultaneously, an error will occur. To work around this, save multiple viewpoint locations separately. When exporting, only keep the locations you want to export active.
2. After clicking, a VR Panoramic Settings dialog box will appear. Here, you can configure the rendering settings for your VR panoramic images, as illustrated in the figure.
3. The Quality setting controls the rendering quality. Draft mode means no anti-aliasing, while Product 16X applies anti-aliasing for smoother results. We recommend selecting the latter. The Stereoscopic Glasses option refers to VR headsets and can be toggled on or off depending on your needs. The Target Device should be set to Universal. Choose the resolution based on your requirements; higher resolutions will result in longer rendering times, as shown in the figure.
4. Once your settings are selected, click to start rendering. You will then be prompted to choose and name the storage location for the panoramic image. It is best to use English letters or numbers in the filename to minimize errors, as demonstrated in the image.
5. After rendering is complete, upload the panorama to a panoramic website for further editing, as shown in the picture.
