Transferring Detail Tables During Project Selection in Revit

How to Transfer Detail Tables in Project Selection in Revit

During project development, it is common to transfer materials, system families, filters, and other settings from one project to a new one by using project standards. But how can you transfer a detailed schedule or list?

1. First, create a new project and add a detail schedule and filters. Use annotations with different colors to quickly review beam drops, and then save the project.

2. Next, create another new project. Draw several beams and adjust their axis offset values as desired.

3. Go to the Insert tab, then select Insert from File. From the drop-down list, choose Insert Views from File.

4. Locate and open the file you just saved.

5. In the dialog, choose to display only the detail schedules and reports. Select the beam detail schedule, then click OK.
