BIM Architecture | As graceful as a beautiful fish, West Hall of Silk Road Cultural Exchange Center/WAY Studio

The Silk Road Cultural Exchange Center is located in Langfang City, Hebei Province. It is a large-scale cultural complex that integrates museums, art galleries, theaters, central theaters, and concert halls.

Each functional area is equipped with independent visitor flow lines, and each functional space can be connected or operated independently. This case is the interior space design of the public area of the art museum.

The building area of the art museum is approximately 10000 square meters, consisting of exhibition spaces distributed on both sides of the hall.

We hope that this art museum will become an active place in urban life, breaking through the limitations of traditional architectural plans as much as possible and providing people with a poetic and imaginative space.

Several public spaces for rest and communication have reshaped the exhibition flow around a courtyard filled with natural light and shadow, and are hidden in the naturally flowing facade;

The architect cleverly extended the spatial relationship between seeing and being seen (BIM tutorial) in the courtyard design of the theater, making performance activities no longer limited to the stage, and running through the entire cultural complex, enriching the viewing experience.
