Revit Family Series: A Tutorial on Drawing a Water Dustpan
1. Divide the water dustpan into three parts: ①, ②, and ③, then use the Stretch command to adjust each section.
2. In the elevation view, select the left side and draw a reference line.
3. Using the sectional drawing as a guide, draw part ②. Apply the Trim command to the arc section, setting the Stretch start point at -150 and the end point at 150.
4. On the left side of the elevation view, draw part ① and define the Stretch start point as -150 and the end point as -110.
Before proceeding, use the Mirror command (mm) to mirror part ① to the right side, completing the drawing of part ③.
5. Use the Connect command to join parts ② and ①, as well as parts ② and ③.
6. Select the model and open the Properties menu to change the material. Create a new material type, modify the family type, rename it, and confirm your changes.
