How to Add Encrypted Stirrups in Revit Easily

How to Add Encrypted Stirrups in Revit

When drawing steel bars, we often rely on a powerful tool called Revit Extensions, which helps us quickly place steel bars. However, you may notice that when placing spiral stirrups, the distribution type option is disabled (grayed out). So, how can we place stirrups in both encrypted and non-encrypted areas? The solution is simple — just use the Copy function to make adjustments!

First, use the Superb tool to create steel bars in the non-encrypted area.

Next, adjust the range of the hoop reinforcement to match the height of the non-dense area’s hoop reinforcement.

Then, copy the hoop reinforcement.

Finally, adjust the copied reinforcement’s height and pitch accordingly.

That’s it!
