How to Clean Curtain Wall Connections in Revit Software
By default, the curtain wall is attached directly to the face of the connecting wall. To better manage the connection between curtain walls, or between interior and exterior walls, use the shape control handle to separate these connections. This approach allows for improved control over the curtain wall joints and the placement of mullions, ensuring the design intent is accurately achieved.
Since the curtain wall is installed on the face of the connecting wall by default, it requires manual adjustment to connect properly. To do this, select the curtain wall connection shape handle, press the Tab key, and check the status bar to confirm the handle is selected. Then, drag the handle to separate the curtain wall from the connecting wall. This action will not break the structural connection between the two walls.
When dragging the selected curtain wall shape handle, a prompt will appear: Use the Align tool to align the curtain wall edge with either the center or edge of the connected wall. This achieves a clean and precise connection.
