How to Choose a Power Distribution System in Revit MEP2019
In Revit MEP2019, you can only configure wiring using distribution panels and transformers that have been added to the electrical design. To do this, the power distribution system must be pre-configured. For detailed settings, please refer to the Electrical Settings dialog box.
To select a power distribution system, go to the Project Browser, expand View (All) → Floor Plan, and then double-click the floor plan that contains the distribution panel or transformer.
Note: You can also use the System Browser to select the distribution panel. Expand Electricity, right-click on the distribution panel, and click Select.
Once you have selected a panel in the drawing area, look to the Options Bar and click on Power Distribution System. From the dropdown list, choose the appropriate power distribution system.
This list includes all available distribution systems that match the voltage specifications of the selected distribution panel or transformer. The systems are sorted by distance from the load, with the closest system appearing at the top.
Note: If only one power distribution system is applicable to the device, it will be automatically assigned. If multiple systems are available, you will need to select one manually.
After selecting a distribution panel or transformer in the view, you can also specify the power distribution system via the Properties panel. Under Electrical Load, click on the Power Distribution System value field and choose a system from the dropdown menu.
To specify a secondary distribution system, select a transformer in the drawing area, then go to the Modify Electrical Equipment tab and open the Properties panel.
Within the Properties panel, under Electrical Load, click the Secondary Distribution System value field and select the desired secondary distribution system.
