The Nogar (Hu Taoshu) Villa takes its name from the serene and commemorative atmosphere that surrounds the site. This project is designed with deep respect for the natural environment. The villa’s balcony is thoughtfully built around existing walnut trees, and the entire structure follows the natural contours of the terrain.

Each interior space connects to an outdoor garden, where the colors and textures of the landscape harmonize with the indoor furnishings. BGP Arquitectura has incorporated steel, rattan, and wood materials both inside and outside the villa to create a cohesive design. The villa’s entrance is located on the middle level, which houses the living and dining rooms adjacent to the home theater. This space is versatile, with doors that can be opened or closed to create a private, separate area.

A double-height space connects the upper-level library, studio, and swimming pool area with a barbecue zone. On the first floor, bedrooms and family rooms open onto a courtyard, fostering a more intimate and cozy atmosphere.

Sustainability was a key focus in the villa’s design. Features include double-layered partitions and glass, as well as numerous south-facing windows that minimize indoor solar heat gain, reducing the need for HVAC systems.

Additionally, the villa utilizes natural cross ventilation and geothermal heating systems buried beneath the property. The landscaping features low-maintenance plants, all contributing to efficient water and energy use throughout the project.
