BIM Software Tip: Using Arc Parameter-Driven Details in Revit Family Customization
During the process of customizing families in Revit, there are times when you need to lock both ends of an arc while using parameters to drive the radius. This causes the center of the circle to adjust accordingly.
Often, we assume that achieving this effect in Revit is impossible. However, we may have overlooked an important detail: by default, the option “Maintain concentricity when changing radius” is checked in the options bar.
With this option enabled, any adjustments will behave as follows:
