BIM Software Tip: Using Revit Line Processing Tools
In this guide, we’ll explain how to use the line processing command, its purpose, and provide a brief overview:
During the modeling and drafting stages, certain cross-sections or elevations may not meet drawing standards. Line processing tools come in handy to resolve these issues efficiently.
Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the section or elevation view that requires modification.
2. Select the line you want to edit.
3. Use the Line Processing Tool: choose the appropriate line style, then select the line located in the middle of the door.
After this, the line in the middle of the door will conform to the required standards.
Common applications of this tool include processing section details, refining wall details, and managing door and window schedules.
