Before adding structural columns, it is helpful to set up a grid because structural columns can align precisely with the grid lines. To place multiple columns along the grid in Revit, follow these steps:

Go to Structural Column → Multiple → On the Grid.

Here are some useful tips for placement:

• Press the Spacebar to rotate all the columns you are creating.

• Continue pressing the Spacebar until the columns are oriented in the desired direction.

• To add additional columns at other grid intersections, hold down the Ctrl key and drag to select other placement points.
